HDI Investigation & Executive Protection Service, Inc. was founded in 2006 by President & CEO, Charles Williams. Charles retired in 2006 after 23 years of meritorious service as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). During an outstanding career, Charles was recognized through numerous letters and special commendations for exemplary investigative and lawn enforcement performance, both in and outside the line of duty. He received special recognition from the Director of the FBI, Attorney General and other legal and law enforcement officials. HDI was formed to provide the same level of efficiency, dedication, accuracy and investigative results obtained for the bureau. HDI has investigative offices in Newark, New Jersey, Albany, New York and Charlotte, North Carolina.

HDI stands for "Honor", "Duty" and "Integrity". That's who we are and that is what we stand for. These values were instilled in Mr. Williams during his FBI career and they are the same core values that every HDI Investigator must believe in and continually strive to achieve and maintain to ensure our success. At HDI, we believe in training our investigators in the use of the most advanced state-of-the-art surveillance techniques and record search and retrieval methodologies available today. All of our investigators have been trained in investigation and interviewing techniques and are committed to providing the highest quality investigative services possible.
