Charles Williams, founder, President and CEO of HDI Investigation was a former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent for more than 23 years.  A graduate of Temple University, he received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and earned a football scholarship while at Temple University. In 1983 Charles become a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  After graduating from the FBI Academy, Charles was eventually assigned to the New York office where he worked for more than twenty years.  During that time he gained invaluable investigative experience in the area of violent crimes, fugitive task force, foreign counter intelligence, national security and civil rights.  Williams was also a FBI certified undercover agent, a member of the New York City FBI Crisis Negotiation Team, EEO Investigator, certified FBI assessor, certified street survival agent and certified general police instructor.  As a testimony to Williams' outstanding career in the FBI he was the recipient of one letter of commendation from the United States Attorney General and of 12 letters of commendation from the Director of the FBI for exemplary performance in the line of duty.

Charles has earned the respect of his colleagues through his embodiment of the FBI's motto: Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity and for his many accomplishments throughout his career. Charles received a letter of commendation from the United States Attorney General and recognition from the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York. Charles also has received numerous letters of commendation from the Director of the FBI.  He had also received letters of recognition from the District Attorney of Kings County, Brooklyn, NY, Monmouth County's Prosecutor Office of NJ, and the U.S. Army's Criminal Investigation Division (CID).

Charles is a consummate professional known for his high moral character, spirituality, motivation and dedication to his family and the youth in his community.  He was a youth track coach and a football coach for sixteen years as well as the president of his community Pop Warner football and cheerleading program.  Charles has always been active in his church at one time serving as the head of the Men's Ministry. He is also a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity. His hobbies include chess, track, writing, public speaking and exercise.  He holds a second degree Black Belt in Judo.

As a successful and highly regarded FBI Agent, Charles decided to retired early in 2006 to pursue a dream and a challenge to use his faith and his wealth of experience to start his own investigation agency so that others will have an opportunity to achieve their dreams through his vision.

Charles was also an FBI Certified Assessor, Street Survival Agent, General Police Instructor, a Community Outreach Specialist and a reserve team member of the FBI New York Crisis Negotiation Team.  Throughout his career Charles has worked on numerous Top Ten Fugitive Investigations, the Crown Heights Investigation, the 1998 United States Embassy bombing investigation in Tanzania, and the World Trade Center bombings in 1993 and 2001.
